Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.
Arab American Family Services has taken part in this annual event in hopes of being able to gain your support in allowing us to support our community. Everything that is raised gives us the chance to continue to build our programs and reach our goals.
Thanks to you, our amazing community, AAFS was able to reach their goal by having $16,015 donated to our office and programs. This was such a success for us and reassures us that we can count our community to help us give back. With this generous donation, AAFS will be able to continue going strong on our programs, and help us in one of our most important departments, our Elderly Department. This will assure us that we will be able to continue with our Congregate Meal Program, as well as different services offered in the department.
At AAFS, our goal is to be a leading organization by providing social services and programs through quality and excellence. And with your help and support, we are able to reach our goals, one day at a time.
