The LIHEAP weatherization program has returned. On October 1, Arab American Family Services will begin assisting clients with the application process.
There are three separate priority periods. Priority Period I will begin on Oct. 1. It is for applicants who are 60 years of age and older, as well as clients with disabilities.
Priority Period II will begin on November 1. This is for clients who have children under the age of 6. As well as households with one or both utilities disconnected or in imminent disconnection status.
The regular application period will begin on Dec. 1. This is an open application process.
