October is National Domestic Violence month. Please join Muslim Women’s Alliance and Arab American Family Services co-founder Itedal Shalabi as they take a stand against domestic violence in the Muslim community and help inform the community and learn how to break this toxic cycle. The discussion will take place on Sunday, October 26, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Dominican University-Priority Campus Auditorium, 7200 W. Division St. in River Forest. The cost of the event is free but a donation will be appreciated.
