The 2014 Watani Chicago Festival kicks off on Friday, August 22 and will run through Sunday, August 24 from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m.
The fest will feature three days of vibrant performances and interactive workshops in music, dance, spoken word, art, craft, theater and children’s activities. The Festival will also stage the various traditional cultures throughout the Middle East. The festival will also feature a traditional folklore dance group and comedian(s).
Tickets are $16 per day, per person or $32 per person, for all three days.
Arab American Family Services will on hand to answer questions and give out information on the numerous services that AAFS provides.
