The Arab American Family Services immigration workshops have been proven to be a successful tool to educate those hoping to become United States citizens on the process of application, as well as knowing their rights.
The past two workshops held in March and April drew over 135 attendees who were given free legal advice, as well as given an opportunity to apply for a fee waiver that would eliminate the $600 fee associated with the citizen application.
Our next workshop will be held on Saturday, May 17 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Thornton Fractional North High School, 755 Pulaski Road in Calumet City, IL 60409.
Once again, their will be legal assistance and help filling out the N400 application, as well as help filing a fee waiver.
