At AAFS, our mission is to uplift and support our community, especially during the holiday season. This Christmas, in collaboration with the Bridgeview Chamber of Commerce & Industry, we are proud of our ongoing Annual Toy Drive Event to ensure every child experiences the magic of the season. As of December 19th, AAFS’s Case Management and Domestic Violence Departments have distributed toys to 37 families, and 2 schools. By the end of the drive, we project to provide toys to 166 children for the holidays!
Additionally, during Thanksgiving, we collaborated with the Arab American Bar Association of Illinois & the Zakat Foundation of Illinois by giving out 700 turkeys and trimmings to families this Thanksgiving! We had a great time distributing the food, and giving back to our fantastic community.
