AAFS, partnering with National Kidney Foundation of Illinois, Turmosayya Association Chicago, and the National Arab American Medical Association are sponsoring a free kidney and diabetes screening on Wednesday, November 13, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. The screening will include blood pressure, blood sugar analysis (fasting not required), body mass index, waist circumference, urinalysis (required), blood draw (if necessary) and a discussion of results with a health care worker.
