Last month, AAFS co-founder and executive director Itedal Shalabi spoke at Courage to Love: Faith Leaders Against Domestic Violence. The interfaith summit was dedicated to bringing clergy and faith leaders together to address the critical issue of domestic violence. The conversations were aimed at creating safe, supportive space within congregations, and addressing the question of how to acknowledge domestic violence when both members are from the congregation.
