Arab American Family Services (AAFS) will hold its Black Tie Fundraising Gala featuring keynote speaker and prominent civil rights activist and writer, Shaun King, on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at the Esplanade Lakes Ballroom in Downers Grove, Illinois. We will recognize and honor pillars in our community with our Spirit of Empowerment Award and entertainment will be provided by Style Me Couture.

This event aims to raise funds to support the many social service programs that Arab American Family Services provides to the larger Arab American and non-Arab community members who are vulnerable, marginalized, and at times have very little means to sustain. Your funds will directly impact our programs, which include case management, elderly services, immigration services, English second language, domestic violence programs, sexual assault programs, mental health services, food and clothes drives, and much more. These programs enhance and empower over 30 marginalized communities in the Chicagoland area.
