Arab American Family Services is proud to take place in the 11th Annual National Arab American Service Day, which will take place on Saturday, May 16.
This year’s event is preparing meals for the homeless. It will take place at the Chicago Ridge Park District’s Freedom Park located on 6252 Birmingham St. in Chicago Ridge, IL 60415.
Registration will kick-off at 9:00 am and meal preparation will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Lunch will be provided for volunteers. A $6 donation is requested to be made by all volunteers who are participating.
Participants must be 13 and older and students will have the opportunity to earn community services hours.
We encourage everyone to participate in this event, which is for a great cause.
