In honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we are standing strong with those who have been and who are effected by Domestic Violence, as well as the survivors who had the courage to stand up for themselves and their families. Other ways to show your support this October is to use the purple ribbon logo created by the Illinois Coalition Against Domestic Violence. The logo incorporates the recognizable purple ribbon as DV awareness’ ribbon, along, with ICADV’s tag line “One Mission, One Voice.” Use this logo as your Facebook profile picture for the month of October, incorporate it into your agency website or your email signatures, or incorporate it into your local event and print materials for the month.
