On Sunday, September 14, 2014, the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF) is hosting their 3rd Annual Run for Peace at Moraine Valley Community College. The 5k run and one mile walk is always a fun-filled day for all those who attend. Arab American Family Services will have a booth on hand to give information on the many services we provide, as well as signing up anyone interested in taking part in the AAFS 7th annual Walk in Faith not in Fear event for domestic violence and cancer awareness.
Our walk will take place on Saturday, October 11 at Lake Katherine located on 7402 Lake Katherine Drive in Palos Heights, IL. The cost for registration is $20 for adults, $10 for children 10 and under. As an incentive and to show our appreciation, anyone who signs up for our walk will automatically be given free tickets to Brookfield Zoo for them and their families that will be handed out at our event.
