Arab American Family Services along with Compassionate Care Network helped launch a week long campaign in collaboration with Get Covered Illinois to ensure that everyone is getting the health insurance they need and deserve in time for the March 31 deadline.
On Thursday, March 18, Arab AAFS, CCN and many community volunteers spent two hours making calls to families to assist in answering their questions and giving them insight into health care costs and assistance for those who are below the federal poverty level.
The deadline for coverage is fast approaching and those who do not get enrolled will be fined.
