Once again, Arab American Family Services will be assisting in the CEDA home weatherization program for low income residents.
Weatherization services include providing smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, to air sealing cracks and holes in the home, providing insulation in walls, attics and floors and repairing faulty and non efficient doors and windows.
Being approved for CEDA assistance does have certain guidelines. Anyone applying for assistance must show proof of gross income for all household members who are 18 years of age, or older. You must have copies of utility bills, as well as Social Security numbers for all household members. Applicants must also show proof of home ownership.
Anyone who thinks they may qualify, or would like to come in for help in the CEDA application process can call AAFS at (708) 599-8229.
